The company operates in two areas;
- Online Retail (medial.se)
This
is an online shop that is serious about delivering select cool gear
with quick shipping and personal support to swedish
customers. The online shop went live late August 2009.
- Mobile Application Development
The development section will appear once I
have my new Joomla based site up and running.
This activity builds on my past long career background in the telecom industry as a
developer engineer
(total of 28 years with Ericsson/Sony Ericsson). I work daily to
increase personal competence in these areas. This site will host a rich
set of developer info for these technologies. I also work on commercial
offerings in the area that may appear under other web domains and in
cooperation with other parties.
The company maintains proper tax permits (F-tax, VAT registered) according to Swedish regulations.
I
founded this little company back in 1992 where it back in those days
began a small postal order activity that distributed free computer SW
on diskettes(!). The "media" part of the name referred to this
distribution method. The company then sat on a shelf for 17 years while
I worked in the mobile business, but is in for a new future.
Hosting of historical web material
Between
1999 and 2007 I documented my restoration of some old japanese
motorcycles. This material can be absolutely fascinating stuff
for enthusiasts
of such vehicles (as well as for myself) so this stuff will remain on
site. This coincided with the first wave of digital cameras entering
the market and all those 640x480 shots made for great
illustration in those (pioneer blog style?) restoration diaries. Enjoy
! I hesitated quite a bit if I should include this
material here. But it's part of life.
